Barbara "Bobbie" D. Helminiak

Beloved Mother, Grandmother and Great-Grandmother, Mrs. Helminiak passed away peacefully at her residence on Thursday, September 12, 2024. Bobbie was born in Milwaukee, WI to the late Burton and Hedwig (nee: Jahn) Gross. On April 23, 1960, she was united in marriage to Roland “Ronnie” Helminiak who preceded her in death on May 31, 2007.

Bobbie spent the majority of her adult life as a homemaker and caregiver. She was an avid Milwaukee Brewers fan who enjoyed both listening to the games and watching them on T.V. She was a longtime member of St. Sebastian’s Catholic Parish.

She is survived by her children; Dawn (Donna), Christopher, James (Ronda), Tani (Michael) and Jodi. Bobbie was blessed to have fifteen grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. She is further survived by nieces, nephews and other relatives. She was preceded in death by her husband, Roland, her brother, Burton and her sister, Faith.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church 6400 Spring Street Racine, WI, on Friday, September 20, 2024, at 11 a.m. with Rev. Thomas Vathappallil officiating. Entombment will follow at West Lawn Garden Court Crypts. Friends may meet with the family at the church on Friday, from 10 a.m. until the time of service.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in the memory of Mrs. Helminiak to either St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church or St. Sebastian Catholic Church have been suggested.
