Our beloved Bernardo Antonio Colin, age 21, left this world unexpectedly on Saturday February 12, 2022. Bernardo "Nardo" was born in Milwaukee on March 21, 2000, son of Bernardo and Veronica Colin.

Nardo graduated from Horlick High School “Class of 2018”, where he was a Rebel Football player. He attended UW- Milwaukee and was working construction rehabbing houses with his father. In his spare time, Bernardo enjoyed driving his car nicknamed Selena, loved playing with his dog Rocky and going to the shooting range. He enjoyed spur of the moment trips to take in new sights. He will be best remembered for his big smile that could light up the world. He was a joyous young man that was so full of life with a heart that was too big to measure. He cared greatly for his family and friends and showed a love that will remain forever. A truly brilliant and bright soul that left us too soon.

Bernardo will be dearly missed by his parents, Bernardo and Veronica Colin; siblings, Jonathon Colin (Hailey Terranova-Peterson), Viviana Colin, Sofia Colin; grandparents, Teresa Arroyo, Juan Jose Colin, Diana Valencia and Eliseo De La Cruz Fabela; aunts and uncles Angelica Valdivia (Alberto), Cristina Geotzinger (Joseph), Carmen Rios (Miguel), Julieta Flores (Ernesto), Juan Garza, Juan Carlos Colin, Raymundo Colin, Alejandro Colin; cousins Alex, Anabella, Anthony Valdivia, Mireya Cruz, Isiah Mata, Joseph and Xavier Geotzinger, Miguel and Elsa Rios, Esteban, Diana and Jisabel Flores, Pamela, Jasmine, Ana, Thomas, Lucia, Teresa Colin and other relatives and many friends.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, 1100 Erie Street, on Tuesday February 22, 2022, 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet with the family at the church on Monday from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. (there will be a time for family and friends to share memories at 6:00 p.m. with a prayer vigil to follow) and at the church on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. To view the service online, visit Bernardo's page on the funeral home website, www.meredithfuneralhome.com, select services/visitation and then Livestream.
