Brian Edward Ernst

Brian Edward Ernst, age 40, passed away due to complications from Cystic Fibrosis on Friday, September 13, 2019 at Froedtert Hospital, Milwaukee. He was born in Anaheim, CA,, March 3, 1979, son of Richard A. Ernst and Regina Christ.

Brian graduated from Costa Mesa High School “Class of 1998”. Brian lived in Costa Mesa, California and moved to Racine in 2017. He was employed at Amazon.com INC. Brian had many interests including the Fuscion Car Club, Pokeman Go, anything Star Wars, movies, books, the beach, boogie boarding, biking, Fright Fest at Great America and his cats, Hiro and Princess. He will be dearly missed.

Surviving are his mother, Regina Christ; father, Richard (Kathie) Ernst; grandmother, Stella Christ; his sister, Cathleen DeLong; aunts and uncles, Therese (Pat) Flynn, Joyce (Joel) Hutchings, Rose Christ, Sharon Montague, Michelle (Dan) Rogers, Patricia Christ, Robert Christ, Aleen Hazelip, Imelda (Peter) Ysais, Toddy Hudson, Sandy (Suzie) Ernst, Lucie (Randy) Ledy, Marilyn (Jim) Alden; cousins, Sean Flynn, Shannon (Tim) Kelly, Treah and Kayla Hutchings, Shealyn (Kevin) Crocombe, Trevor Greene, Kimberly (Connor) Caldwell, Mark (Clara) Montague, Tara, Jake, Zach, and Ty Rogers, Dawn, Teresa, James, Dolores, Wendy, Jan, Tracy, Donno, Mike, Dave, Katie, Angela, Tina, Jeannette, Jason, and Cathy; nieces and nephews, Aaron DeLong, Juliette Lofty, Christopher DeLong, Ilsa Lofty and Zach DeLong; other relatives and dear friends Carrie (Keven) Lofty, Heqtor Tun, and others. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Bob Christ; cousins, Lisa and Robbie; and uncle, Brian Montague.

A reception for relatives and friends to gather and celebrate Brian’s life will be held Thursday, September 19, 2019, 5-7 P.M. at Preservation Hall Racine, 740 Lake Avenue, Racine. A time for sharing memories will be at 7:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation have been suggested. www.cff.org
