Debrah Ann Carraway

Debrah Ann Carraway, age 44, passed away Monday, April 21, 2025, at her home. She is now in heaven with both of her parents Debrah Carraway and Gregory Woods.

She left behind 3 sisters and 2 brothers, Chaka Carraway and husband Carl Pruitt, Latanya Carraway, Tamara Scott and husband Terry Scott, Gregory Wilson and Jason Carraway and wife Candice. She also left behind a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and a great niece.

Our baby sister was very smart, talented, funny, beautiful, independent and loving. She had 3 dolls that she loved so much. She took really good care of them and they never left her side. They will be taken care of because it’s what she would’ve wanted.

Gone too soon, God knew it was her time to come home. She will forever always be in our hearts.

Don’t cry because it’s over. Smile because it happened. “Although it’s difficult today to see beyond the sorrow, may looking back in memory help comfort you tomorrow.” If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane, I’d walk right up to heaven and bring you home again. Love your sister, -Tan

Losing a sister is hard to explain, the feeling of hurt and so much pain. I'll think about you daily but mostly when it rains I know deep down your wings was gained!!! We love you Sis!

Relatives and friends may gather at the funeral home Wednesday, May 7, 2025, from 10:30 am until 11:30 am. A service will follow at 11:30 am.
