Donald R. "Don" Gibson

Donald R. Gibson, age 74, passed away unexpectedly, Sunday, December 29, 2019, at Ascension All Saints Hospital. He was born in Fitchburg, WI, July 9, 1945 son of the late Leonard and Theda (Nee: Cooper) Gibson.

Don was a member of Jehovah Witnesses and enjoyed sharing the word. He had been employed as a truck driver and enjoyed golf and music. He will be dearly missed.

Don was preceded in death by his first wife Mae. On November 30, 2019 he was united in marriage to Gataaga L. Ekerowa who survives him. He is further survived by his daughter, Sarena; grandchildren, Karce and Rashad; siblings, Vickie King, Gail Causey, Yvonne (Raymond) Dawson, Leonardo and Leonard Gibson; other relatives and dear friends. In addition to his parents and first wife he was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Dawn Marie, a sister, Barbara White, and brothers, Kenneth and Gary Gibson.

A memorial service will be held at Meadowbrook Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 1600 Summerset Drive, Saturday, January 4, 2020, at 2 pm.
