George Edward "Georgie" Cody

George Edward “Georgie” Cody, age 63, died on August 29, 2019, at Ascension All Saints Medical Center. George was born in Racine on September 20, 1945, son of the late Edward and Alice (nee: Waincome) Cody.

George enjoyed his time working at the Curative Workforce. In his spare time, he loved biking, fishing, camping and a good cup of coffee.

Georgie will be dearly missed by his siblings, Nancy Howland, Judy Raymond, Donald and Jerry Cody; sister-in-law, Mary Cody; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In addition to his parents, Georgie was also preceded in death by his brothers, Billy and Johnny and his sister, Diane Zemke.

Memorial services will be held at the Taylor Avenue Church of the Nazarene, 2100 Taylor Avenue, on Saturday September 14,2019 at 12;00 p.m. Visitation will be held at church from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at noon.
