Jose Manuel Castaneda

November 2nd, 1996 - January 8th, 2022

Jose Manuel Castaneda, age 25, passed away Saturday January 8, 2022 at Ascension All Saints Medical Center in Racine. Jose was born in Reynosa, Tamaulipas, Mexico on November 2, 1996, son of Jose and Maria Castaneda.

Jose attended Walden and graduated from Washington Park High School “Class of 2015”. A couple years after graduation, Jose found his passion in car sales. Lastly employed at Nissan Ziegler in Gurnee, IL. Loving the environment and the people he worked alongside with. Always looking forward to looking sharp and smelling good for his day at work. A man who always enjoyed a good time, Jose will be remembered for his kind heart, vibrant spirit, great generosity, sense of humor, his practical jokes, contagious laughter and his great love and devotion to his family and friends.

Jose will be dearly missed by his parents, Jose and Maria Castaneda; sister, Laynna Castaneda; brother, Angel Castaneda; grandparents, Esther Diaz and Maria Bravo; aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and many dear friends.

Jose, we all love you, and will miss you so much. The impact you made on everyone around you is remarkable. Your spark will continue to live on inside of us, pushing us to move forward everyday, to do better everyday, to keep exceeding our accomplishments, much like you showed us. You were such a great guy, taken from all of us way too soon. Gone but never forgotten, his memories will live on with us forever. Remember him and honor him every time you have smoke, take a drink, or share a laugh with those close to him.

Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Saturday January 15, 2022 from 12:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. with a funeral service starting at 4:00 p.m. There will also be a visitation at Blessed Hope Baptist Church, 4835 Taylor Avenue, Racine, WI 53406 on Sunday from 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. To honor Jose, commit an act of kindness to someone in need, or commit a practical joke that will bring some happiness in this sad time.
