Kathleen F. Doll, age 79, passed away November 26, 2017 at her residence. She was born in Kenosha, January 27, 1938, daughter of the late Frank and Kathryn (Nee: Montomuro) Blasi.

On June 11, 1960 she was united in marriage to David M. Doll who preceded her in death, May 14, 2005, as well as her infant son, Joseph, and her adult son, Michael.

Kathleen was employed for 19 years at William Horlick High School running the computer lab and classroom, retiring in 2008. She was a longtime active member of St. Mary’s by the Lake Catholic Church. She and her husband did retreats for Catholic Marriage preparation with young engaged couples for the Archdiocese of Milwaukee. She also taught scripture classes at St. Mary’s for many years,

She was a published author, having written the novel No More Fish on Friday. It was one of her proudest moments. More than anything she was devoted to and cherished time spent with her family.

She will be dearly missed by her children, Elizabeth Doll of Racine, Bernie (Angie) VonRuden-Doll of MN; her three grandchildren, Jonas, Lennon, and Mara; brother, Frank (Sue) Blasi of Il; sisters Karyn (Nick) Moczarney of Kenosha, and Michelle (Tommy) Paulowski of Kansasville; other relatives and dear friends

A Celebration of Life Mass will be celebrated Saturday, April 28, 2018, 1:00 P.M. at St. Mary’s by the Lake Catholic Church, 7605 Lakeshore Drive, with Rev. Stephen J. Stradinger officiating. Relatives and friends may meet with the family Saturday at the church from 12:00 P.M. until time of Mass at 1:00 P.M. Per Kathleen’s wishes please refrain from wearing black. In lieu of flowers monetary gifts may be made to the family in the name of Kathleen’s daughter, Elizabeth Doll, to offset the costs of the funeral.
