Lossie Lee Stephens, age 98, passed away Tuesday, November 3, 2020 at The Villa at Lincoln Park. She was born in New Albany, Mississippi, March 13, 1922, the 10 th of 11 children of the late Will and Maggie (Nee: Henry) Rogers.

Lossie was a longtime resident of Racine and had been employed at Rainfair, Inc for over 25 years. She was a longtime member of St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church. Lossie was a people person and enjoyed going to church, talking on the telephone and traveling. Above all it was time spent with her family she treasured the most. She will be dearly missed.

Surviving to cherish her memory are her son and daughter-in-law, Roger and Gwendolyn Stephens of Pikesville, MD; 3 grandchildren, Akida (Ken) Neely of Philadelphia, PA, Jamarr (Joy) Stephens of Washington, DC, Brett Stephens of Chicago, IL; great grandchildren, River and Raine Neely, Nasir Stephens; 4 step grandchildren; 4 step great grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her 10 siblings.

Homegoing services will be held at the funeral home, Monday, November 9, 2020, 11 am with Bishop Lawrence L. Kirby officiating. Visitation will be held prior to the service 10-11am. Interment will follow at West Lawn Memorial Park.

The family would especially like to thank the late Rita Rogers and Shelia Grandy for all their help with our mother and the facilities where she resided.
