Marlis Ann Peterson

Surrounded by her family, Marlis Ann Peterson, age 80, passed away Monday, April 19, 2021, at Ascension All Saints Hospital. She was born in Kenosha, WI, June 19, 1940, daughter of the late Delbert and Gladys (Ne: Harms) Mueller.

Marlis graduated from Mary D. Bradford High School “Class of 1958”. She was employed in the offices of S.C. Johnson for 19 years retiring in 1999. In 1973, she was united in marriage to Martin C. Peterson who passed away in 2007. In her younger years Marlis enjoyed camping with the family and most recently she enjoyed crafts, knitting, sewing, quilting, playing cards and games. She will be remembered for her warm, caring, and compassionate heart. Above all she treasured time spent with her family. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother who will be dearly missed.

Surviving are her son, Tim Pecore (Scott Vansteelandt); her daughter, Pamela Hampton; 5 step children, Tina (Andy) LaCount, Mitchell (Lisa) Peterson, Jill (Dan) Lynch, Judy Petersen, Peggy (Gene) Zemen; 8 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; nephew, Steve (Joan) Mueller; special friend, Jody (Skip) Simonsen; other relatives and dear friends. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her brother, Dean (Marty) Mueller and her nephew, Scott Mueller.

Relatives and friends may meet with the family at the funeral home Friday, April 23, 2021, 12-1 pm. A funeral service will follow at 1 pm.
