Michael M. Montalbano

Michael Martin Montalbano, age 76, passed away Thursday April 30, 2020 after a seven-month fight with cancer. Michael was born in Rockford, Il on March 29, 1944, son of the late Dominick and Virginia (nee: Piccione) Montalbano.

Mike was an outgoing individual with a zest for life. He will be remembered for his love of dancing, singing, socializing and especially his big heart. He truly had a great and happy life, and enjoyed his time here, with the “best brothers in the whole world” and his “favorite sister”, and especially his four girls.

Mike will be dearly missed by his daughters, Michelle (Dean) Mueller of Brookfield, Marie Montalbano of Racine, Julie (Shawn) Couillard of Mukwonago, and Debbie Montalbano of St. Francis; nine grandchildren, John (Brittany), Monica, Matthew, Gary, Breanna, Haley, Ryan and Samantha; three great grandchildren Mason, Maxwell and Ellianne; siblings, Anthony (Loretta) Montalbano of Brookfield, Leonard (Theresa) Montalbano of Racine, and Elizabeth (Donald) Cline of Janesville; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In addition to his parents, Mike was also preceded in death by his brother John and Grandson Mitchell.

A Celebration of Michael’s Life to be held at a future date later this summer.
