Sandra Jean Keller passed away unexpectedly May 22, 2025, while in Milwaukee, WI assisting a relative. Sandy was born on December 18, 1946, in Milwaukee, the daughter of Eugene and Beverly (Peterson) Richards. She graduated from Washington High School. Not long after, Sandy met the love of her life, Dennis Keller - they married April 2, 1966. In 1971, they (and their daughter) moved to Racine, where they shared over 46 years together before his death in 2012.

Sandy was always a dedicated employee, and was especially proud of her time at M&I Bank, where she was known for her hard work, good spirits, cookies and year-round holiday tree. Her kindness and generosity were what drove her, and her patience and perseverance allowed her to push through the hard times. Sandy would do anything she could to make sure those she loved and cared for knew it without a doubt. Sandy was the absolute best Mom anybody could ever ask for - the most patient and loving parent, she was Kristin's rock, best friend, closest confidante, and frequent day-trip companion. Sandy thoroughly enjoyed time with her siblings - whether it was a quick phone call, a visit, or a vacation together. She also got sheer delight whenever she got the chance to play practical joker, especially with them and her daughter. Sandy also loved spending time with good friends, learning more about her Native American heritage, wolves, puzzles of all kinds, taking rides in the country to enjoy the scenery, handing out treats to any dog she met, and passing out her homemade muffins and cookies to friends and neighbors.

Sandy will be lovingly remembered by her daughter, Kristin; her siblings, Joanne (Tom) Geibel, Fred (Anita) Dresie and Paula (Rodney) Ferguson; nieces and nephews, John, Hilary, Courtney & Hunter, and Chris & Kris; grandniece Sophie; grandnephew Howard; dear friend Joanne (Mike) McSweeney; as well as many other relatives and friends.

A private service and interment will be held at a future date.

Mom was a big proponent for giving back, particularly to Veterans causes, Children's Hospital, Wisconsin Humane Society - if you'd like to honor her with a donation in her name, she'd love it.
