“Spread your Wings”

It’s okay to let go, no more pain, no more worries,

Spread your wings and fly.

Fly high baby girl. Fly high.

When you left, we felt kisses from the sky

telling us it’s okay.

Don’t mourn me, Give God the Glory.

I’m at peace, I’m Home, no worries,

no more fears.

Though I ask you to hold me near in your heart.

I’ve gained my wings, time to spread them.

I feel free

Anytime you cry, look at the sky,

And remember how much love there was.

I’ve gained my wings

Though I’m not here physically, I’m there in spirit guiding you.

I’m always here for you, I just had to spread my wings.

God had other plans for me.

Time for me to rest, God saw I did my best.

He called me home where I am free.

Now it’s time I spread my wings.
