Vyshonn M. Avitia

It is with great sadness we have to close the life of Vyshonn Martell Avitia, age 18, who passed away Wednesday, October 24, 2018. He was born in Chicago, IL, January 27, 2000, son of Esmeralda Avitia and Timothy Hollins.

Vyshonn graduated from Washington Park High School “Class of 2017”. He enjoyed working on cars and spending time with his kids, family and friends. He will be dearly missed.

Surviving are his mother Esmeralda, father Timothy; children Davarius and mother Shahara, Delantiy and mother Dontasia, Kyshonn and mother Cassandra; siblings, Thalia, Alicia, Laticia, Alice, Breonna, Lavontay, Elijah, and Alyjah; grandparents, Estella and Esuebio Avitia, aunts and uncles, Stella (Jerald) Randall, Alice (Marcus) Fuller, Anthony (Simone) Hollins; close friends, Hunter Hanson, Robert Chambliss, Ryan Paton, Kevin Jones, Courtney and Jeanette Thompson and Family; a host of other aunts, uncles cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by grandparents, Alice Hollins and Sidney Fonder and his aunt Madeleine Avitia.

Private services were held.
