Allen Alvin Johnson, age 78, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 12, 2026, and is now reunited in heaven with his beloved wife, Hazel. He was born in Racine, Wisconsin, on February 10, 1948, son of the late Alvin and Rose (Nee: Treise) Johnson.

Allen graduated from Wm. Horlick High School, Class of 1966. After graduation, he proudly served in the U.S. Army and was stationed in Vietnam and Germany.

On August 15, 1970, he married Hazel I. Buege. Together they raised four children: Michael, Christian, Carla, and Erik. Allen spent many years working in shipping and receiving for Western Publishing, Massey Ferguson and Lawter International.

Allen enjoyed watching the Brewers and the Green Bay Packers, taking car rides, and making the occasional trip to the casino. Above all, he loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren, who meant the world to him. He will be remembered as a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend who will be dearly missed.

Surviving are his children, Michael (Kathleen) Johnson, Christian Johnson, Carla (Eric) Bergemann, and Erik Johnson; grandchildren, Connor, Madisen, Randallen, Rylie, Teagan, Maxwell, and Josephine; sisters-in-law, Mary Pederson and Cathy Buege; as well as other relatives and friends.

In addition to his parents, Allen was preceded in death by his wife, Hazel; sisters, Rosemary and Patricia; and granddaughter, Amber.
