Audrey Jean Hooten

Audrey Jean Hooten, age 88, passed away November Monday, November 25 after a short illness. She was born in Oconto, WI where she met and married Robert Hooten and started raising her family. They later moved to Racine, WI.

Audrey was preceded in death by Robert; her son, Michael, her parents, Edward and Helen Bloom; and her brother, Harvey Bloom.

Audrey enjoyed gardening, canning, and the Packers. She and Robert were members of the Eskimo Snowmobile Club for many years and would take several trips with the group. She also enjoyed traveling. Audrey had been employed at Walker Mfg and Western Publishing.

She will be missed by her children, Edward (Terri), James, Connie (Bernie) Kupper, Scott, David, and Debbie; by her six grandchildren; eight grandchildren; sister, Bonnie (Robert) Lamirande; sister-in-law, Doloris Bloom; along with many other relatives and family friends.

Per Audrey’s wishes private family services will he held.
