David W. "Dave" Driver

David Wesley “Dave” Driver, age 71, passed away June 11, 2025 at Advent Healthcare Hospital in New Smyrna Beach, FL. David was born in Racine on July 14, 1953, son of the late LaVerne and Angela (nee: Worsley) Driver.

David graduated from Wm. Horlick High School “Class of 1971”. He bartended at the Nearly Normal Bar in South Milwaukee and later was employed with the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. He retired and moved to New Smyrna Beach in 2018. He loved the beach where he could socialize and enjoy cocktails and beautiful sunsets. Dave enjoyed playing and watching sports, especially the Packers, Brewers and Badgers and his trips to Daytona Beach.

David is survived by his daughter, Kimberly (Jon) Neu and their sons, Eddie and Max ; siblings, Richard “Rick” Driver and Peggy Driver, both of Gold Canyon, AZ; two nieces, other relatives, best friends, David (Kathy) Venegas and James Grezenski; and other friends.

A Celebration of David’s Life will be held at a later date. David will be laid to rest with his parents at West Lawn Memorial Park.
