Frank Koska, age 82, passed away Sunday, January 26, 2020 at Ridgewood Care Center. He was born in Hungary, November 26, 1937, son of the late Gabor and Maria (Nee:Nagy) Koska. During the 1956 Hungarian Revolution, Frank immigrated to the United States and has been a resident of Racine since 1970.

On February 2, 1963 at St. Stephen’s King of Hungary Church in Chicago, he was united in marriage to Anna Csaszar. Frank owned and operated Frank’s Polishing for 20 years. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. He enjoyed playing soccer and tennis in his younger days and playing cards and fishing in his later years. He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather who will be dearly missed.

Surviving are his wife of 57 years, Anna; children, Frank J. (Sabrina) Koska of Singer Island, FL, John (Vickie) Koska of Green Bay, WI, Kathy (Jim) Robinson of Bloomington, IL; grand-children, Austin, Caitlin, Alyssa, Stephen, and Ryan; in-laws, Irma (Joe) Kurali of Racine, Maria Kekesi of Hungary; nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Emil Kekesi and brother in law Frank Csaszar.

A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, February 8, 2020, 11:00 am at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 2201 Northwestern Ave, with Reverend Ricardo Martin officiating. A Visitation for friends and relatives will be held prior to the service from 10:00-11:00 am. Memorials to Sacred Heart Catholic Church or the Alzheimer’s Association have been suggested.

The family wishes to extend a special thank you to the caring staff at Ridgewood Care Center and Heartland Hospice.
