James T. Miller, age 67, passed away Wednesday, January 17, 2018 at his residence. He was born in Racine, August 7, 1950, son of the late James and Marcella (Nee: Cook) Miller and was a lifelong resident of Racine.

He was a graduate of William Horlick High School “Class of 1969”. On April 11, 1970 at St. Patrick Catholic Church Jim was united in marriage to Linda M. Quella. Jim proudly served in the U.S. National Guard for six years and was a member of the American Legion. He was employed with S.C. Johnson Wax for thirty-eight years until he retired on June 18, 2007. He also was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. A proud lifetime member of the NRA and avid hunter, Jim taught hunter safety for over twenty years and was a member of the Wisconsin Sportsmen, County Line Gun Club and the Winchester Gun Club. A baseball fan all of his life, Jim umpired baseball games and enjoyed watching the Kiwanis baseball team and the Brewers. He also liked the Milwaukee Admirals and Packers. Above all, he loved his time up north at his home away from home where he could enjoy hunting and the outdoors. Jim will be best remembered for his great love and devotion to his family.

He will be dearly missed by his loving wife of forty-seven years, Linda; his children, Jennifer (Harry) Collis, Rebecca (Kyle) Kasper; his grandchildren, Patrick and Shawn Carroll; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Tom (Lynda) Quella, Vicky Quella, Julieanne (Milan) Milosevic, John (Sandra) Quella, Dan (Maureen) Quella, Carter (Brita) Quella, Patrick (Carolyn) Quella; his beloved dogs, Sophie and Maggie; other relatives and many dear friends.

Relatives and friends may meet with the family at the funeral home on Sunday, January 21, 2018 from 2:00 P.M. until 4:00 P.M. and Monday at the funeral home from 10:00 A.M. until time of funeral services at 11:00 A.M.
