Javelle M. Hinze

With her family by her side, Javelle M. Hinze, age 87, passed away Friday evening, August 23, 2024. Javelle was born in Medford, WI on December 17, 1936, daughter of the late Andrew and Erna (nee: Frischman) Kurth.

Javelle was employed with Dremel Mfg. for forty years before retiring in 2012. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church. In her spare time, she enjoyed crocheting, shopping and puzzles. Above all, she loved spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Javelle will be dearly missed by her daughters, Lori Jastrow, and Cheryl Kraus (Martin Meissner); grandchildren, Nicole Hapka (Ashley Langdon), Michael Jastrow Jr, Brian Kraus (Gillian Jaeck), Kevin Kraus (Rebecca Shaw), and Lisa Lopez (Dave Meyers); great-grandchildren, Matthew, Samuel, Elizabeth, and Hannah Hapka, Gustavo and Lina Lopez, Emma Langdon, and Baby Girl Kraus; siblings, Diane (Donald) Wibben, RaNae (Phil) Hadelstad, James (Mary) Kurth and Jerry Kurth (Grace Brehm); sister-in-law, Barbara Kurth (Don Spoehr), many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. In addition to her parents, Javelle was also preceded in death by her son, Wayne Kraus, daughter-in-law, Bambi Kraus, son-in-law, Michael Jastrow, great-granddaughter Abigail Hapka, brothers, Larry Kurth and Galen Kurth and sisters, Angeline Nelson, Joanne Davis, and Donna Blank.

Funeral Services celebrating Javelle’s life will be held at the funeral home, 11:00 am, Saturday, September 7, 2024, with Rev. Stephen Jennings officiating. Relatives and friends are welcome to meet with the family for Visitation Saturday, 10:00 am until time of service at the funeral home. Private entombment will be at West Lawn Memorial Park.
