December 5,1964 to eternal life on November 16,2021 Jeffrey M. Johns passed away suddenly on November 16,2021. He leaves behind his beloved wife Maria (Finnane) Johns of 34 years, six children, Caitlin (David)Bain, Colin (Deborah), Connor, Catriana, Caleb and Caragh, and grandchildren Rowan and Molly, his Father-in-law Mike Finnane, brothers and sisters in law and many nieces and nephews together with Aunts, Uncles and cousins of whom he loved abundantly. Preceding him in death were his Parents Harry and Norma Johns of Kokomo, Indiana and his mother-in-law Mary Ellen Finnane. Jeff and Maria met at Marian College and were both actively involved in theatre and music together. They married in 1987 in Glen Ellyn. Jeff loved cars and would enjoy Sunday walks through the car shows in their local town. He and Maria were strong Traditional Catholics having attended Latin Mass for many years. It was that faith that encapsulized everything that Jeffrey was. A devout man of prayer, principle, and hard work. He fiercely loved his wife and children and thoroughly enjoyed being Grandpa to his two grandchildren who gave him so much joy! Jeff had a fantastic sense of humor, and his laugh was contagious. Both he and Maria loved their college friends, neighbors, and fellow parishioners. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Paul's Catholic Church in Evansville, Wisconsin, Interment will follow at Calvary Croak Settlement in Evansville, Wisconsin. A Requiem Memorial Mass will be planned for Cincinnati at a later date. The family requests that a rosary be said for Jeffrey and for All the souls of the faithful departed in his honor. The funeral Mass will be live streamed and may be viewed by going to the funeral home website, select Jeffrey's page, select service, select live stream.
