Life Story / Obituary
Jude L. Voss Mahnke, age 88, passed away Sunday November 9, 2025, at her residence with her primary full -time care giver, her daughter, Venise Voss by her side. Jude was born in Racine Wi on May 5, 1937, daughter of the late Russell and Agnes (Nee: Fischer) Braunling.
She was loved dearly and will be sadly missed by her children, Vickie (John) Binzak, Vashelle (Paul) Brannon, Venise Voss, James Voss Jr, Vanessa (nee: Bohmann) Voss and Seth Felker; grandchildren, Allison Binzak (Timothy Farrell), John Binzak Jr. (Becca Adame), Dylan Brannon, Erin Brannon, Devin (Ashleigh) Bohmann, Logan Bohmann (Seaira Moore), Nolan (Alaina) Bohmann and their father Daniel S. Bohmann; great grandchildren Jaxon and Addison Farrell and Raelynn and Anderson Bohmann; sister Alice Edwards; nephew, Kent Edwards. Also surviving are Jude’s late husband’s children, Michael S. Mahnke, Melenie S. Krolak, and Jennifer l. Ross. In addition to her parents and her children’s father, James A. Voss and her late husband, William Mahnke, she was preceded in death by her infant son, James W. Voss and her brother Russell Braunling,
A Memorial Service celebrating Jude’s life will be held at 11:00 am at the funeral home, Sunday, November 23, 2025. Relatives and friends are welcome to meet with the family for Visitation from 10:00 am until time of service. Private interment will be held at Southern Wisconsin Veteran’s Memorial Cemetery. Memorials to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital have been suggested by family.
