Karen Lee Jensen-Fletcher, age 79, passed away Friday February 24, 2023 at her residence. Karen was born in Racine on September 27, 1943, daughter of the late Egon and Jane (nee: Nash) Jensen.

Karen was a proud graduate of Wm. Horlick High School “Class of 1961”. She was employed with Walker Mfg. for over twenty-five years, and later with Modine Mfg. and H.A.L.O. Karen was a former member of St. Edward and St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Churches. A woman of strong faith, she enjoyed bible studies with her friends. Karen sang in the church choir and relished singing for weddings and funerals. She also gardened which brought her much comfort and happiness. Karen had a great love of the holidays, especially Christmas. Gathering with family and friends, Karen hosted an annual Christmas tree decorating party which brought her warmth and joy. Always looking out for others in need, she will be remembered fondly for her generosity and many acts of kindness. Above all, she will be remembered for her great love and devotion to her family and friends.

Karen will be dearly missed by her daughters, Kimberly Fletcher, Kelly (Tom) Fletcher-Quiroz; grandchildren, Anna (Mike) Lalor, Amilia Fletcher and Joseph Fletcher; great grandchildren, Jena and Jordon Dronso, Eliana Ordonez and Enrique Salinas; siblings, Tom (Janet) Jensen, Nancy Jensen and Jim (Sue) Jensen; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In addition to her parents, Karen was also preceded in death by her daughter, Robin M. Fletcher.

Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Saturday March 11, 2023 from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. with a Celebration of Karen’s Life Service to start at 12:00 p.m.

The family extends a special thank you to Best Home Care of Wisconsin LLC for their loving and compassionate care.
