With her family by her side, Marguerite L. Bolanowski, age 86, passed away Saturday morning, December 28, 2024 at Ascension All Saints Hospital. Marguerite was born in Ashland, WI on January 31, 1938, daughter of the late Bert and Katherine (nee: Richards) Reinerio.

On December 23, 1961, Marguerite was united in marriage to the love of her life, Harry E. Bolanowski. They raised three sons, David, Scott, and Timothy, and shared 63 beautiful years together. Marguerite was employed with CRB Financial Services for ten years. In her spare time she enjoyed making Christmas cookies, needlepoint, testing her luck at the casinos, and watching her show, “The Young and the Restless”. Above all she loved her time with family, especially hosting family parties, trips to Disney with the kids, her Alaskan cruises, and time spent with her grandchildren.

Marguerite will be dearly missed by her loving husband, Harry; three sons, David (Doreen) Bolanowski, Scott Bolanowski (Lisa Pincikowski), and Timothy (Debbie) Bolanowski; grandchildren, Rebecca (Nate) Poelmann, Ryan (Lexi) Bolanowski, Brianne Bolanowski, Josh (Kylie) Bolanowski, Colin Bolanowski, Abigail Bolanowski, and Lauren Pincikowski; great grandchildren, Madelyn, Rowan, Eden, Gracelyn, and Leighton; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In addition to her parents, Marguerite was also preceded in death by her sister and brother-in-law, Kathleen and William Zimdars.

Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Monday, January 6, 2025 from 10:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. with a service in celebration of Marguerite’s life to follow. Private Interment will be held at the Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Salvation Army or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Marguerite’s name. These were two of her favorite charities.
