Phyllis Marie Miller

Phyllis Marie Miller was born September 19, 1954, in Racine, Wisconsin to the late Otha and Modenia Miller. Phyllis was taken to her heavenly home on July 3, 2021.

Phyllis accepted Christ as a young adult. She was a faithful healthcare worker. She labored in the healthcare field for over 30 years until she was overcome with health issues. Phyllis enjoyed her job and she had a passion for helping people. Her genuine smile was contagious to her co-workers and patients.

Phyllis attended Wm Horlick High School. She was employed by Lincoln Lutheran Home, Ridgewood Care Center and the Leader Health Care Facility.

Phyllis leaves to cherish her memories, 4 daughters, Peronda (Bruce) Miller, Kimberly Miller, Talisha Miller, and Frances (Narvell) Miller; a son, Kevin (Merc Marie) Miller; faithful friend, Darrell Curtis Brown; 6 sisters, Nadine Brown, Frances Miller, Burna (Roosevelt) Guy, Virginia Miller, Bertha Miller, Gail (Aneba) Costa; her brother, Craig Miller; 21 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; other relatives and dear friends. In addition to her parents, Phyllis was also preceded in death by a daughter, Mary Miller; 3 brothers, Howard Wells, Otha Miller Jr., and Rodney Miller.

Funeral services will be held at the funeral home, Friday, July 16, 2021, 12 pm. Visitation will be held held prior to the funeral 11 am – 12 pm. Interment will follow at Graceland Cemetery.
