Robert Reavley was born March 4, 1962, in Chicago, Illinois to Mary and Robert

Reavley who both preceded him in death. Robert was the third child of four, and they were a family of love, unity and togetherness.

Robert was educated in Chicago, Illinois and graduated from Englewood High School. Robert married his high school sweetheart Lishon Allen in 1986. To this union three children were born, Robert, Arnold and Mario Reavley.

Robert accepted Christ at an early age. He held many positions throughout his work life. Robert loved cooking, fishing, bowling, all sports, spending time with family and friends, playing video games and listening to music.

On September 15, 2022, the Lord called Robert home to rest from his labor and receive his reward.

Those remaining with great memories of Robert are: his children: Robert, Arnold and Mario (Talnisha); grandchildren: Aniya, Tamaria, Ayrianna, Amari and Melodi Reavley; his loving sisters: Fannie Scott (Melvin), Marie Kamin (Richard) and Barbara Reavley; nieces: Shauneen, Chantel, Frances, Heather and Laura; a nephew, Bryant; great nieces: Tawana, Latoya, Ashley, Jessica, Erica, Angela, Raneesha and Sharlacia; great nephews: Darius, Mike and Isiah; and a host of great great nieces and nephews, friends and family members.

A funeral service celebrating Robert’s life will be held at the funeral home, Saturday, October 1, 2022, 11:00 AM with Rev Melvin Hargrove officiating. Private interment will be held at Greenridge Cemetery. Relatives and friends are welcome to meet with the family for Visitation, Saturday at 10:00 AM until time of service at the funeral home.
