Roger Andrew Mobeck, 90, of Williams Bay Wisconsin went to meet his King on 12/16/21.

He was a Mothers Day baby, born May 10, 1931 to Stone & Edna (nee: Gustafson) Mobeck of Dekalb, Illinois.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Norman Mobeck, sister Loris (Mobeck) Wiltburger & his dear friend Larry. He leaves behind several Nieces, Nephews, Great Nieces, Great Nephews & many dear Life Long Friends, Too many to list.

Roger was a graduate of Dekalb Township High School, class of 1949. He then went on & graduated from Roy Vogue Art School in Chicago, Ill.

He was a Veteran of the United States Air Force, serving from 1951-1955 Honorably discharged with the rank of Staff Sargent.

He was employed by Fred Haring Co & was General Manager of Retail Operations at Chicago Union Station for 17 years. He was General Manager at Shares for Flower City, St Paul, Minnesota.

He was Manager buyer for AnVan Corp for the Abbey Resort & Interlaken Resort in Fontana, Wi. He opened & Managed the gift & clothing store at the Grand Geneva Resort & Spa in Lake Geneva, Wi where he featured many renowned fashion shows, using local models. He was a Host for many years at Ralphs Steak House, Delavan, Wi.

His retirement consisted of him being an active crafter, going to many shows with his crafts & his signature “Initial Trees”. He enjoyed Drawing, garage sales, auctions, Estate Sales, Spending time with his friends & Being a Friend. He was a member of Kishwaukie League, member of GLAD, Lake Geneva, member of Art Fountain & Grateful member of Al-Anon Lake Geneva.

He was a member of Edgewater Covenant Church of Chicago & a Charter member of Covenant Church, Lake Geneva, Wi. He was also a Charter member of Hillcrest Covenant Church, DeKalb, Ill.

There will be a service at Anchor Covenant Church, 1229 Park Row, Lake Geneva, WI 53147 on Thursday February 3, 2022,10:00 o’clock with a visitation one hour prior. Internment with Full Military Honors will be at Fairview Park Cemetery in Dekalb, IL at a later date to be announced.
