Rose E. Wallner

Rose Ellen Wallner, age 65, passed away after a long battle with Alpha-1 disease Sunday, August 17, 2025 at her home. She was born in Racine, April 19, 1960, the 7th of 8 children of the late Arnold and Inez (Nee: Hamilton) Christensen.

On August 28, 1982, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, she was united in marriage to Michael A. Wallner. Rose had a passion and gift for creating beautiful handicrafts; crocheting, knitting and cross stitch. These works of love were given freely to all who knew her and donated to people in need. Above all she treasured the time spent for her family especially her granddaughter Milena. Rose enjoyed traveling to every place her family lived, North Carolina, Oklahoma, Montana and the U.P. of Michigan. Her favorite place to visit was Lake St. Mary in Glacier National Park.

Surviving are her husband, Mike; children, Holli (Nicholas) Langlieb, Jonathan Wallner (fiancé Meghan); her beloved granddaughter, Milena; siblings, Nels Christensen, Charles (Carol) Christensen, Martha Boye, Allen (Joann) Christensen, Frank Christensen, Randy (Linda) Christensen; in-laws, John (Kayla) Wallner, Grace (Ed) Moakler; nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear friends. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her sister, Mary Brauer.

Funeral services will be held at the funeral home Friday, August 22, 2025, 10 am with Fr. Sean Granger officiating. Relatives and friends may meet with the family prior to the service 9-10 am
