Sabino Vargas

Surrounded by his loving family, Sabino Vargas, age 94, passed away Monday, September 20, 2021, at his home. He was born in Zacatecas, Mexico, April 16, 1927, son of Antonio and Beatrice Vargas.

Surviving are his children, Chila, Antonio, Sabino, Enrique, Juan A., Angelica, Hortensia, Carmela, Jose Enrique, Miguel, Roberto, Armando, Ruben; grandchildren; great-grandchildren; other relatives and many dear friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Maria and children, Enrique, Angelinca, Antonio and Juan A.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday, September 27, 2021, 10:30 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 2201 Northwestern Avenue. Relatives and friends may meet with the family Sunday at the Maresh-Meredith & Acklam Funeral Home, 803 Main Street, from 2:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. and Monday at the church from 10:00 a.m. until time of Mass at 10:30 a.m.
