Sandi Marie Michaels (Staniszewski) passed away peacefully at home Monday, August 16, 2021, at the age of 76 years old surrounded by loved ones. Sandi was born on December 31, 1944, in Marinette, WI.

Sandi was a kind, loving, and fiery woman who loved to laugh and enjoy life. Her favorite hobbies were playing Cribbage, shopping, being surrounded by friends at her second home Buca’s, and spending time with her family. Sandi was a true Green Bay Packers fan, and, in spite of her family’s wishes, was an avid Cubs fan who enjoyed cheering for her Cubbies with her husband. On February 1, 2013, she married her best friend Gene Michaels who adored her and treated her like the princess she was.

Sandi will be missed by her loving husband Gene; daughters Vicki, Kathleen (Rick), Dianna (Chaz), Barbara (Paul), and Michelle (Lee); Nikki (Eric) Meeusen, David Michaels, Chris Michaels, and Katie Michaels; grandchildren Taylor, Ryan (Lexie), A.J., Casie, Brett, Colin, Chad, Kaitlin, Stella, Kenzie, and Sadie; great-grandchildren, Savannah, Alexander, Athena, and Maddie; sisters Joan (Jim) and Jean, as well as many dear relatives and friends. Sandi was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Violet (Evans) Staniszewski; sisters Carolyn, Patricia, Donna, and Janice; in-laws, Audrey (George), Ken, Katherine; husbands, Howard W. Beck Jr. and Richard Hamm.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, August 22, 2021, 2 pm at the funeral home. Relatives and friends may meet prior to the service from 1-2 pm. Private interment will be held at Graceland Cemetery.

The family wishes to extend a special thank you to Nicole at Ascension All Saints ICU and David from Compassus Hospice for their loving and compassionate care.

Your bright eyes, laughter, and caring heart,

These things we shall remember.

Your kindness, love, and good humor,

These things we shall remember.

You are gone and our hearts weep,

But for all the joy you gave us,

All the love you shared,

You’re in our hearts forever,

These things we shall remember.
