Willie Cleveland

Willie Cleveland, age 49, passed away Tuesday December 7, 2021 at Ascension All Saints Medical Center. Willie was born in Chicago, IL on May 11, 1972

He graduated from Hyde Park High School in Chicago, IL “Class of 1990”. Willie moved to Wisconsin in his early 30s. With his great personality, and love for games he was offered a job at Game Crazy and Game Stop. He developed good friendships while working there. He left there to pursue a career at Verizon Wireless where he proved to be an excellent salesman and also gained some good friends. Willie loves spending time with family, enjoyed connecting with his friends, co workers and playing video games online where he also had tons of friends. He loved sports, especially watching his Chicago Bears and Bulls. Willie loved to laugh and make others around him laugh and smile. Willie loved God and lead so many to Christ including many of his close family members. A big man with an even bigger heart, who touched the hearts of many from Illinois to Canada., Willie will be remembered fondly for his kindness, generosity, great smile and his great love and devotion for his family.

Willie will be dearly missed by his daughter, Amirah Daisy Cleveland, who was the most important person in his world; his siblings, Tryphonia Cleveland, Brenda (Dennis) Harrison, and Tanya Taylor; nieces and nephew, Sonja (Jermichael) Sykes, Candance Harrison, Denisha Harrison, Shane Sherman; a host of great nieces and great nephews, other relatives and friends. Willie was preceded in death by his mother, Daisy Cleveland and his niece, Faith Harrison.

Services celebrating Wiilie’s life will be held at Shekinah Glory 1013 Harmony Drive on Saturday December 18, 2021, 12:00 p.m. with Apostle Charles C Jones officiating. Visitation will be held at the church on Saturday from 11:00 a.m. until time of service at 12:00 p.m.
