Alan D. Wolfman, 74, formerly of Racine, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, May 21, 2020 at his home in Lafayette, Indiana. He was born in Racine, May 5, 1946, son of the late Benjamin and Alice (nee: Hoffman) Wolfman.

On May 4, 1968, at St. Lucy's Church, Alan was united in marriage to Marilou Holub and she proceeded him in death on April 28, 2010. Alan graduated from William Horlick Highschool before spending most of his working career with the Russ Darrow Automotive Group. At work, Alan was known for his strong work ethic, charisma, and outgoing nature. To his friends and family, Alan will be best remembered for his easy smile, positive attitude, thoughtful advice, and ability to tell stories. Alan was an avid reader, loved classic cars, to discuss all things politics, and food (especially breakfast).

Survivors include his children, Zach Wolfman of Racine, Abbey Wolfman of Lafayette, IN; sisters and brothers, Gail Larson of Las Vegas, NV, Linda (Dennis) Worm of South Milwaukee, Mark Wolfman of Oregon, WI; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Marilyn (William) Staebler of Stevens Point, Mary Jo Haluska of Racine; nieces and nephews; and his beloved furry companions Buddy and Bo.

A memorial service will be held at the funeral home, Friday, July 31, 2020, 12:00 pm. Everyone is required to wear a mask and will be provided if needed. The service will be live streamed and may be viewed by going to the funeral home website, Alan Wolfman page, select services, and select livestream. Private interment will follow at West Lawn Memorial Park. Relatives and friends may meet with the family prior to the service 11:00 am until 12pm.

The family requests that memorials contributed be directed to the National Kidney Foundation.
