Alisha Janelle Ocasio

Alisha J. Ocasio (Nee: Descher), age 48, passed away Thursday, December 1, 2022, at Ascension All Saints Hospital. She was born in Racine, July 25, 1974.

Alisha was last employed by Warren Packaging and previously at Chubbies and DeRango’s Restaurants. Full of life, Alisha loved attending clubs, painting pictures, going out to eat with her family, and found enjoyment doing hair and nails for family and friends. Above all she cherished and loved spending time with her family.

She will be dearly missed by her children, Mercedes King, Darson King, Airica Benitez, Bianca Benitez, Julio Benitez, Timiya Castro, Alexis, Demencio Ocasio, Jazzmin Ocasio; her grandchildren, Maricela, Malayah, Malayni, Aleyna; siblings, Adam Dashner, Marcy (Eric) Helms, Tammy Kerns; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear friends. She was preceded in death by her mother, Shirley I. Alvarez; and by her granddaughter, Marisabela.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 17, 2022, 11 am at the funeral home. Relatives and friends may meet prior to the service 10-11 am. A reception will follow at the American Legion on Douglas Avenue. In lieu of flowers memorials to the family have been suggested.
