With her family by her side, Anna M. “Ann” Peterson, age 87, passed away at her residence on Sunday November 15, 2020. Anna was born in Superior, WI on August 11, 1933, daughter of the late Jerry and Christine (nee: Swaba) Peterman.

On August 15, 1953 in Superior, Ann was united in marriage to Ronald J. Peterson. She was employed with the Bank of Elmwood for twenty-two years before retiring in1995. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and sang in their choir and volunteered at All Saints Hospital and St. Monica’s Senior Living. In her spare time, Ann enjoyed fishing, crocheting, crossword puzzles, playing the piano, and her travels with her husband. Above all, she loved her time spent with her family, especially watching her grandchildren grow up and graduate from college.

Ann will be dearly missed by her loving husband of sixty-seven years, Ronald; children, Ronald (Tami) Peterson Jr., Jeanne (Kerry) Dunk, Debbi (Michael) Russo, Susan (Darrell) Davis; grandchildren, Alicia (Tim) Bruskiewicz, Michelle (Rob) Russo-Hoelz, Katlyn (Nick) Pascarella, Justin Russo, Zachary Peterson, Taylor Peterson; great grandchildren, Jordan and Nathan Bruskiewicz, Margot Hoelz; brother, Thomas Peterman; sister, Mary (Roman) Michalski; sisters-in-laws, Elaine Stuart, Lois Peterson; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, November 21, 2020 at 10:30 a.m. Relatives and friends may meet with the family at the funeral home on Saturday from 9:30 a.m. until time of service at 10:30 a.m. The family will be going to Holy Cross Cemetery, Hwy 32 privately.
