Antonia Rodriguez Barron, age 74, passed away unexpectedly Monday, December 12, 2021, at her residence. She was born in Zatapa, Mexico, daughter of the late Hilario and Carmen (Nee:Briones) Rodriguez.

On January 16, 1967, she was united in marriage to Isaias G. Barron and they immigrated to the United States in 1974 first to Illinois and Iowa settling in Racine in 1980. Antonia was employed by Powder Finishers for over 20 years retiring in 2009. She was a member of Cristo Rey Parish and enjoyed cooking, shopping and her dogs. Most of all she treasured the time taking care of her family especially her grandkids. She will be dearly missed. Antonia was a devoted, wife, mother, and grandmother who will be dearly missed.

Surviving are her husband, Isaias; 5 children, Aracelia (Martin) Garcia, Patricia (Mario) Salgado, Isaias (Janie) Barron Jr., Carlos (Angela) Barron, Edgar (Sonia) Barron; 16 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; siblings in Mexico; in-laws, Rosa and Jorge Moreno; nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear friends. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brother, Juan, and sister, Santiaga.

Funeral services will be held at the funeral home, Monday, December 20, 2021, 11 am with Rev. Jose Mario Nieto Restrepo officiating. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, Hwy 32. Relatives and friends may meet prior to the service 10 - 11 am.
