Barbara Ann Zakowski Beth

Barbara Ann Zakowski Beth, age 92, passed away Thursday April 9, 2026, at Ascension All Saint Medical Center. She was born in Racine, February 26, 1934, daughter of the late Sydney and Bessie (Nee: Pica) Olson.

Barbara was a graduate of Wm. Horlick High School, “Class of 1952”. In her early years, Barbara was employed by Hamilton Beach and last employed by SC Johnson’s Waxdale in food service. She enjoyed word search, Playing cards, bingo and puzzles. Barbara had a friendly personality who made everyone she met feel comfortable.

She was loved dearly and will sadly missed by her children, Steve (Ruth) Zakowski, Connie Zakowski, Brian (Cathy) Zakowski, Tom Zakowski; grandchildren; Aaron Zakowski, Craig (Marena) Zakowski, Tyler Zakowski; three great grandchildren, Ramsey, Cameron and Reece; special niece Debra Beaty, nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear friends. In addition to her parent’s, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Carl Zakowski, her second husband, Mel Beth, son, Michael Zakowski, daughter-in-law, Kristin Zakowski; siblings, Sydney (Norma) Olson, Lois (Ray) Wood, Richard Olson and Dave (Mary Pat) Olson.

Funeral Services celebrating Barbara’s life will be held at the funeral home, 12:00 pm, Thursday April 16, 2026.

Relatives and friends are welcome to meet with the family for Visitation on Thursday at 11:00 am until time of service. Private interment will take place at West Lawn Memorial Park.
