Barbara Anne Williams, age 88, passed away Tuesday, August 11, 2026, at Oak Ridge Care Center, Union Grove. She was born in Racine, September 6, 1937, daughter of the late Charles and Elizabeth (Nee: Cetrano) Skala.

Barbara was a graduate of St. Catherine’s High School, “Class of 1955”. On May 11, 1957, she was united in marriage to Warner Williams who preceded her in death on April 13, 2023. In her earlier years Barbara was employed at Zayre Department Store and Kortendick’s Hardware Store. She was a lifelong member of St. Rita Catholic Church and served as a Eucharistic Minister at the Hospital. In her earlier years she enjoyed being a girl scout leader, scrap booking but more than anything being a homemaker. Barbara along with her husband, Warner founded St. Vincent De Paul Northside Food Pantry. She also volunteered at the Senior Companion Program.

She was loved dearly and will be sadly missed by her children, Timothy (Mary) Williams, Tamara (Gaurang) Joshi, Theresa Easton, Tonia (Daren) Osborne; 9 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; sister, Monica (William) Grise; nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear friends. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her son, Theodore “Ted” Williams and brothers, Charles and Tom Skala.

A Mass of Christian Burial celebrating Barbara’s life will be held at 11:00 am, Tuesday, August 18, 2026, at St. Rita Catholic Church, 4339 Douglas Ave., with Rev. Mark Obeten officiating. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery, Hwy. 32. Relatives and friends are welcome to meet the family for Visitation Tuesday at 10:00 am until time of Mass at the church. Memorials to St. Rita Catholic Church have been suggested.
