Bernard Joseph Kupper, Jr., age 90, of Racine, passed away Friday, December 6, 2024, at St. Monica’s Senior Living. He was born in Racine, WI, July 16, 1934, son of the late Bernard and Alice (Nee: Prudent) Kupper, Sr. Bernard graduated from St. Catherines High School “Class of 1953”.

He was employed as a pressman with Western Printing for 35 years, retiring in 1996. In recent years he enjoyed helping out at The Shooters’ Sports Center.

Bernard was a member of the Lutheran Church of the Resurrection. He enjoyed golfing, deer hunting, rabbit hunting, traveling Wisconsin, and his place up by the Dells. He will be remembered for his love of family and passion for golf. Above all, he treasured the time that he spent with his family. He will be dearly missed.

Surviving are his 4 children, Bernard (Connie) Kupper III, Sandy Cooper (Michael), Linda (Alex) Kupper, Gary (Linda) Kupper; 2 step children, Maren (Randy) Burnett, Aaron (Edie) Kozlik; 5 grandchildren, Mandy, David (Amber), Nicki (Brian) Ryan (Travienna) and Stephanie; 3 step grandchildren, Travis (Katie), Jadon, and Nathaniel; 7 great grandchildren, Hailey, Brayden, Dominic, Berkley, Finley, Russell and Sawyer; 2 step great grandchildren, Benjamin and Charlotte; sister in-law, Patty Kupper; nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Rose M. (Larsen) Kozlik. Granddaughters, Sarah Aiuppy, Sky Vande Kolk; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Don and Meta Larsen and the mother of his children, Carole Hurtubise Kupper.

Funeral service will be held at Lutheran Church of the Resurrection, 322 Ohio Street, Tuesday, December 17, 2024, 10:30 am with Reverend John Anderson officiating. Interment will follow at Graceland Cemetery. Luncheon will follow. Relatives and friends may meet Monday 4-6 pm at the funeral home and Tuesday at the church, 10-10:30 am. Memorials to St. Monica’s Senior Living have been suggested.
