Bonifacia Pérez De Faz, age 75, passed away unexpectedly Friday, July 4, 2025, at Aurora Hospital Mount Pleasant. She was born in El Santuario, Bocas, SLP, Mexico, May 14, 1950, daughter of the late Pedro Pérez and Catalina Arriaga.

On June 10, 1970, she was united in marriage to Hipólito Faz and they were blessed with 7 children. They came to Racine in 1995 and were members of St. Patrick Catholic Church. Bonifacia enjoyed gardening, taking care of her plants, crocheting and sewing. She will be remembered for being a loving mother who was always being straight to the point, as one who looked out for others and as a gracious host. She never let you leave her home unfed. Above all she treasured the time taking care of her family. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother who will be dearly missed.

Surviving are her husband of 55 years, Hipólito; 7 children, Rosa Maria Faz Pérez (Jesús Muñiz), Gerardo Faz (Josephine Carbajal Faz), Román Faz (Maria Elena Rodriguez), Martin Faz (Sara Faz), Maria del Carmen Faz (Luis Enrique Vásquez), Jose H. Faz (Patricia Faz), Jose L. Faz (Perla Sánchez); grandchildren, Jessica Muñiz, Jonathan Muñiz, Sandra Carbajal Faz, Carmela Carbajal Faz (Russell Paddock), Esmeralda Carbajal Faz, Gerardo Carbajal Faz, Ivonne Faz, Arnold Faz, Janet Faz, Jaime Faz (Maverick Thill), Cristian Faz, Luis Enrique Vásquez, Emmanuel Vásquez, Mario Elías Vásquez, Julieta Faz, Natalia Faz, Mateo Faz, Isabella Faz, Allison Faz, Mauricio Faz, Isaac Faz; great-grandchildren, Lola, Alexander, Russell III, Aria, Camaron, Araceli, Anthony, Alayah, and Amilliano; brother, Pedro Pérez Arriaga and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister María Isabel Pérez Arriaga.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday, July 9. 2025, 11am at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 1100 Erie Street with Fr. Juan Camacho officiating. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, Kinzie Avenue. Relatives and friends may meet at the church prior to the Mass 9-11 am.

Memorials to St. Patrick Catholic Church have been suggested.

The family would like to thank the medical staff at Aurora for their loving and compassionate care.
