Carolyn Denice Simmons

Carolyn Denise Simmons ,65, Passed away at her home on Wednesday April 23, 2025. She was born in Racine, Wisconsin on February 29, 1960, daughter of Robert J. Bell and Evelyn Flemmings (Simmons). Most of her life she had lived in Racine. She will always be remembered for the care and concern for the needs of others, often placing those needs above her own. She was a shining example of kindness and compassion, inspiring her family to spread love and positivity wherever they went.

She has left behind many to cherish memories. Her only child Xavier Simmons; siblings, Wardie Person, John Turner, Gregory Simmons, Darrell Bell and Shirley Bell; special nieces and nephews Barbara, Annie, Willie James and Ricky Person Shaniqua Griffith, Daniesha Coleman, Promyc'e Sheilds, Cal'lee Miller, Ja'karie Higginbottom, Tyrell Simmons, Jacqueline Hibbler, Kenneth Johnson, Brenda Johnson, Laniyah Wilson, D'Arie Ellis, as well as her best friends Sheri Price & Debbie Albritton. Carolyn is also survived by countless nieces, nephews, and many friends that were very close to her. She was called “AuntieTT” by many that held her dear to their hearts.

Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents Evelyn Simmons and Robert J Bell, siblings, Hayward Howard, Helen Wilson, Bertha Johnson, Mary Bobo, and Curtis Simmons.

Funeral services celebrating Carolyn’s life will be held at 12:00 pm at the funeral home, Friday, May 16, 2025. Relatives and friends are welcome to meet for a Visitation on Friday at 11:00 am until time of service at the funeral home.
