Charles Evan Griffiths Jr. “Chuck”, age 72, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday February 18, 2024 at his residence. Charles was born in Racine on December 4, 1951, son of the late Charles and Catherine (nee; Koelsch) Griffiths.

Chuck graduated from Washington Park High School “Class of 1970”. Chuck was a firefighter with the Racine Fire Department for twenty-five years before retiring in 2007. Patti and Chuck loved traveling together, enjoying trips to Alaska and Ireland among others. They cherished their time with family and friends on the Chain of Lakes in Waupaca. Many laughs and great memories were made on the Chain! Chuck enjoyed hunting and fishing with his boys, his brothers and good friends. He was a fan of the Packers and celebrated their weekly wins, was known to enjoy a good Western Movie and was an avid reader of anything to do with history. Chuck was a kind soul that lived a life of serving others in many different ways. For the last several years, Chuck proved to be the ultimate caregiver for Patti in her time of need.
