David Robert Kuske, age 58, passed away peacefully Thursday, November 19, 2020 at Waukesha Memorial Hospital following a short battle with cancer. He was born in Green Bay, WI, October 4, 1962, and raised in Racine son of the late Robert and Violet (Nee: Petersen) Kuske.

Dave graduated from Washington Park High School “Class of 1980” and went on to earn a bachelor’s degree from the University of Wisconsin Parkside. On July 8, 1989, at Holy Communion Lutheran Church he was united in marriage to the love of his life, Terry R. Olson. Dave was employed by Briess Malt & Ingredients Co. for 19 years as director of operations and was last employed as a vice president with Proximity Malt LLC. Dave was a Wisconsin sports fan who loved the Packers and Badgers. He enjoyed golf, darts, playing the guitar and anything beer. He was quite the conversationalist and was versed in many subjects. Above all he was a devoted husband, father, brother, uncle and friend who will be dearly missed.

Surviving are his wife of 31 years, Terry; children, Jason (Samantha) Kuske, Carolynn Kuske; sisters, Roberta Stevens, Karen (Nolan) DeCamp; sister-in-law, Shelly Olson (Charles Forbes); nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews; other relatives and many dear friends. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his sister, Theresa Cantrell, father and mother-in-law, Emmet and Diane Olson and his brother-in-law, Gary Olson.

Due to Covid-19, services will be announced and held at a later date. Memorials to the American Cancer Society have been suggested.

The family wishes to give a special thank you to nurses Laura and Jamie for loving and compassionate care in addition to the staff at Waukesha Memorial Hospital.
