David R. Laycock

David R. Laycock, age 72, passed away on Saturday April 18, 2020. David was born in Stambo, MI on October 20, 1947, son of the late Clifford and Betty (nee: Sablich) Laycock.

On July 2nd, 2005, David was united in marriage to Sharon Earsley. He was last employed with the Andis Company for fifteen years. In his spare time, David enjoyed Sci-Fi, Elvis Presley, and the Road Runner, grilling out and spending time with his family.

David will be dearly missed by his wife, Sharon; daughters, Vicki Dyess, Nicole Laycock, and Rusty Laycock; grandchildren; Anthony, Christopher,Jeremy,Destiny Marcus,Mya,Mareena, Darrion, Jordan and Jonah. 27 great grandchildren; siblings, Jennifer (Wolfgang) Wagener, Clifford Laycock, Jackie (Willie) Lee Sr., Susan Britson, Rosemary Ormand, Charles Laycock; nieces, nephews and special buddies Jimmy "Jimbo" Bookie Lee, Damien Lee (Slim) and other relatives and friends. In addition to his parents, David was also preceded in death by his brother, Kenneth Jon, brother-in-law, Duane Britson and his granddaughter Mercedes Harris.

Private family services will be held at a the future. Interment will be held at Mound Cemetery.
