Donna Dee Wilson, age 78, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday January 16, 2025 at her residence. Donna was born in Racine on December 28, 1946, daughter of the late Otto and Nettie (nee: Schemlin) DeLitz.

She was a proud graduate of Wm. Horlick High School “Class of 1965”. On August 28, 1965, Donna married David Wilson who she had been dating since she was sixteen. They raised two children, Ryen and Christopher, and shared over sixty beautiful years together before David passed away on October 22, 2023.After raising her children, Donna was employed with Piggly Wiggly for over twenty years and helped with bookkeeping at Hansen’s Tap. She will be remembered as a popcorn and banana bread making fool! Omg-don’t forget about her crossword puzzles and watching Jeopardy. Donna loved shopping for jewelry, not for herself, but to give to her friends and family. She was a generous, caring and loving soul who was devoted to her family.

Donna will be dearly missed by her daughter, Ryen (Pete) Chambasian; son, Christopher Wilson; grandkids, Nicole (Steve) Relaz, Alex Wilson, Cody (Sarah) Chambasian and Drew Chambasian; great grandchildren, Samantha and Nicholas Jakuboski, Hailee, Adrianna and Adalynn Wilson, and Olyve Wilson; brother-in-law, Ronald (Linda) Wilson; sister-in-law, Joyce (Duane) Widenski; brother-in-law, Ken Johnson; her furry companion, Teddy; nieces, nephews other relatives and dear friends. In addition to her parent’s she was preceded in death by her grandson, Adam Wilson, her great granddaughter, Elizabeth “Izzy” Jakubowski, and her sister-in-law, Nancy Johnson. Memorials to the Wisconsin Humane Society have been suggested.
