Doris Ann Henderson

Doris Henderson made her transition to eternal life on January 1, 2020. Doris was a graduate of J.I. Case High School in Racine, WI. Doris moved to Toledo Ohio where she worked for Grangers Group Home. Doris loved listening to music, reading and spending time with her family and friends.

Left to cherish Doris’ memories are her parents Lewis & Beatrice Givens Sr.; Doris’ beautiful daughters: Marquetta Wilson, Shalanda (Rodney) Russell, Natasha Wilson (Prentice Bishop), Jamie Wilson, and her younger brother, Lewis (Tangie) Givens Jr of Arizona. Doris will be further missed by her grandchildren: Kionna Phillips, Marcus Phillips, Maya Phillips, Quiniye Wilson, Quainaye Wilson, Keyasia Wilson, Niekko Wilson, Dorian Wilson, Daquan Wilson, Prenyla Bishop, Shermon Mitchell Jr, Semajking Mitchell. Doris is further survived by her nieces and nephews, Lewis Givens III, Imani Givens, Kiyama Henderson, James Henderson Jr.; special cousins, Jeanette Brown, Marsha Ward, and Joyce Denton; a host of other cousins, friends, and family that she dearly loved.

Doris was preceded by death by her children's father James Wilson, older brother James Henderson and her grandmother Maybelle Henderson.

Visitation will be held at Midtown Church of Christ, 1704 13th St., Racine, WI, Monday, January 20, 2020, 10 – 11 a.m. Funeral services will be held at 11 am followed by interment at West Lawn Memorial Park.
