Eileen Therese Kowalski

Eileen Therese Kowalski, age 90, passed away Sunday, May 5, 2024, at St. Monica’s Senior Living. She was born in Chicago, IL, August 19, 1933, daughter of the late John and Winifred (Nee: Clarke) Scott.

On June 25, 1955, Eileen was united in marriage to Edward Kowalski who preceded her in death on August 1, 2013. Eileen was a longtime member of St. Patrick Catholic Church. Eileen enjoyed reading, traveling but above all cherished time spent with her family.

She was loved dearly and will be sadly missed by her children, Edward (Donna) Kowalski, Winifred “Winnie” (Neal) Morehead, Kathleen Norton, Margaret Warren, John (Ruth Ann) Kowalski, Mark (Terry Lynn) Kowalski; 9 Grandchildren, 5 great grandchild; siblings, James Scott, Patricia Hones, Mary Ellen Kenney; nieces, nephews other relatives and dear friends. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Elizabeth Kowalski; sister, Margaret (Richard) Folfas, brother, John (Nancy) Scott, and son-in-law, Scott Norton

A private celebration of life will be held. Private interment will be held at Valhalla Cemetery, Bloomington, IN. Memorials to St. Monica’s Senior Living or to Hospice Alliance have been suggested by the family.
