Harold E. Mason

Harold Edward Mason, age 58, of Mount Pleasant, passed away on October 22, 2026, at his residence with his family by his side.

Born in Racine Wi, on April 19, 1968, Harold was the son of the late Harold and Joan (nee: Heyse) Mason. He graduated from Washington Park High School “Class of 1986”. On April 17, 1993, Harold married the love of his life Melissa Ann “Missy” Merten. Harold dedicated 25 years of hard work to We Energies as a Senior Equipment Operator before retiring in 2023. He enjoyed his career and loved working with his coworkers during that time.

Harold was a hardworking man who believed in enjoying life and making the most of every moment. He loved spending time with his wife Melissa on numerous travels to Jamica and Mexico which took them on many adventures. Harold also enjoyed cooking gluten free meals, watching movies and his motorcycle.

Above all, Harold treasured his family and the memories they created together. He will be remembered for his love of life, his hardworking spirit, and the special place he held in the hearts of those who knew him.

Harold will be dearly missed by his wife of thirty-three years, Missy; his children, Stephanie (Josh) McCoy of Franksville, and Christopher (Melissa) Mason of Mt. Pleasant; grandchildren, Ethan, Emma, and Aiden; siblings, Gail (Norm) Daniels, Larry “Doc” Scwall, and Linda (Jeff Hummer) Vos; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Private family services will be held.
