Jack Plock, age 74, passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 8, 2023, at AccentCare Hospice, Oak Creek. Jack was born to Melvin and Audrey (Nee: Huffstutler) Plock on July 13, 1948, in McLeansboro, IL. He was the second out of their six children.

Jack attended Crete-Monee High School and was drafted into the U.S. Army. He moved to Racine in 1974 to be near family, and through friends was introduced to Roxann M. Smith. They were married September 20, 1975, and were blessed with a daughter Angi. Jack had a passion for cars and was employed by various dealerships, retiring from Hiller Ford in 2018 after 30 years as a service writer. He was a passionate gardener, who enjoyed fishing, camping, bird watching, and art. Jack also enjoyed all types of music and in the 80s and 90s worked as “Then and Now JLP Music” where he could be found Disc Jockeying at parties and functions. Above all, Jack treasured the time spent with his family and will be dearly missed.

He is survived by his wife Roxann, daughter Angi (Nunzio) Tenuta, grandchildren Matthew, Michela, and Melanie, siblings Cecil (Linda) Plock, and Jada (Kathy) Plock, many beloved nieces and nephews, other relatives, and dear friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his infant son Shawn Dell, and siblings Karen, Melva, and Rick.

A memorial service will be held Sunday, April 23, 2023, 2 pm with Reverend Laura Fladten officiating. Relatives and friends may meet prior to the service 1-2 pm.

The service will be live streamed and may be viewed by going to the funeral home website, select Jack's page, select service and select live stream.

The family wishes to extend a special thank you to the staff at Aurora St. Luke’s Medical Center, Aurora Mount Pleasant Medical Center and Accent Care Hospice for their loving and compassionate care.
