James Neil Loendorf, age 83, passed away Wednesday October 28, 2026. James was born in Racine on October 11, 1943, son of the late Herbert and Lucille (nee: Corder) Loendorf.

Jim was a proud graduate of Washington Park High School “Class of 1962”. On June 15, 1963, he was united in marriage to Sally Whalen. They were married for thirty-one years before Sally passed away in 1994. Lucky to find love again, Jim was married to Mary Jakubowski on October 13, 1995, at St. Mary By The Lake Catholic Church, where they were members. Jim was employed at SC Johnson Wax for thirty-two years before retiring in 2005. In his spare time, Jim enjoyed simple pleasures like washing his car in his heated garage, his visits with the guys at the gas station, cutting his grass, and woodworking utilizing his carpentry skills. Above all, he will be best remembered for his great love and devotion to his family.

Jim will be dearly missed by his wife, Mary; children, Jim (Louise) Loendorf, Jeff (Kim) Loendorf, Sue (Tom) Hasko, Jenny (Chris) Kraase, and Jake (Heidi) Koll; grandchildren, Addison (Brittany) Loendorf, Ashleigh (Zach) Lim, Kendall Loendorf, Dan Hasko, Rachel Hasko, Tyler (Megan) Kraase, Caleb Kraase, Jacob Koll, Andee Koll and John Koll; great grandchildren, Kinley and Caden Loendorf, Brooklyn, Liberty, Ardyn and Malyk Kraase, with baby boy Lim on the way; sisters, Shirley (Joe) Sorenson and Peggy (Bob) Grandsard; other in-laws; nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Friday December 4, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. with a service to start at 11:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials to St. Jude Children’s Hospital or one’s favorite charity have been suggested. This is a “Celebration” of Jim, so please wear casual, cheerful attire.
