Janet Marie Green

Janet Marie Green, age 63, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday April 14, 2021 at her residence. Janet was born in Racine on December 22, 1957, daughter of Clinton and Marie (nee: Harrell) Green and had been a lifelong resident.

Janet graduated from Wm. Horlick High School “Class of 1975”. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Accounting from UW-Oshkosh. Janet was employed with the Urban League in Racine and Kenosha. She was a member of Wayman AME Church. Janet will be best remembered for her generosity, always giving, forgiving, and caring for others, and for her great love and devotion to her family.

Janet will be dearly missed by her three sons, Terrance (Natalie) Green, Terrell Green, Termayne Green; grandchildren, Tyler, Moriya, Caleb, Tashaya, Ariana, Imani, Ny’ella, Harmoni and Melodi; her mother, Marie Green; brothers, Richard (Jan) Green, Michael Green; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Janet was preceded in death by her father, Clinton; brothers, Wade and Charles; sisters, Patricia Green, Beatrice Green and Mae Gibson; and grandson, Donovan.

A Celebration of Janet’s Life will be held at a future date.
